Wreath Making Class a Success!

In my opinion, there are two things to celebrate this week:  1.tasty Thanksgiving fare with family and friends and 2. tree trimming, twinkling lights and all the decorations that go along with our winter holiday season.  Earlier this month, we had a wreath making class at the Arboretum and I have been anxiously waiting to start decorating since then (I was told I couldn’t start until after Thanksgiving!).

If you did not attend our wreath making class, I encourage you to sign up next year.  We had such a good time!  Here are a few of the wreaths from the morning:

Want to make your own wreath at home?  While it certainly won’t be as the same as making one with this fun crew, it is certainly doable … and easy!  Check out my wreath making post from last December https://cedarvalleyarboretum.wordpress.com/2009/12/03/.

Check in later this week for details on some of the wreaths shown above … I loved the creativity and originality of each!

See you in the gardens.
