Monday: A Week of Wreaths

leave a comment »

For our wreath making class, each participant was encouraged to bring whatever ribbon and embellishments he/she chose to decorate with.  The creativity of each wreath blew my socks off!  They certainly gave me great ideas for my own holiday wreath — so I wanted to share so you could be inspired, too!  Monday through Friday I’ll post different examples of beautiful wreaths.

Our Monday wreath is a great example of a more traditional style.  Simple yet classy.  Nothing welcomes in the holidays like a bright velveteen bow … and I really like how the texture of the ribbon adds depth to the bow.  This is also a great example of using different greens to add more texture to your wreath.  Pine, spruce and cedar greens were intermixed in this wreath.

See you in the gardens.
