A Class You Won’t Want To Miss!

leave a comment »

This beautiful weather is getting me in the mood to pull out my flowerpots and fill them with colorful annuals!  Flowerpots are an easy, low-maintenance opportunity to create an inviting space on your front porch, back patio or anywhere else.  The only problem is that flowerpots (other than the generic plastic pots, that is) can get kind of pricey.  But fear not!  Our first adult class of the season is all about making cheap flowerpots, specifically hypertufa flowerpots, at home.  As well as inexpensive and easy to make, there is a great deal of flexibility in size and shape of hypertufa flowerpots.   Sign up today – this is a class you will definitely not want to miss!

Saturday, April 30th

10:00 a.m. in the Head House

Hypertufa Container Class with Maurine Crisp

Hypertufa containers are natural, weather-resistant vessels similar to cement or terracotta, but minus the weight, making them easier to use for the average home gardener.

Plan on wearing grubby clothes as each participant will make his/her own container to take home.

$25.00 for non-members and $20.00 for members.

Registration due by Friday, April 22nd .

To register, print the mail-in registration form below or register online at ww.cedarvalleyarboretum.org/registration.asp.

See you in the gardens.
